Nine days without sugar – The result is dramatic

А new study showed that complete avoidance of sugar in short-term has dramatic results. Although each food does not provide an equal sense of reward, for most of us it achieves the sweet, or sugar. Although fruits are an important way to bring sugar in your body, the modern way of eating went in a completely different direction. For example, about 10 years ago an average American consumed 22 teaspoons of extra sugar per day (which is an extra 350 calories), while recently one expert said that an average British consumed 238 teaspoons of sugar per week.

Given today’s food industry, it’s almost impossible to find processed foods that do not contain additional sugar, which most of us are already accustomed to. In the same way that nicotine and heroin create dependence, increased neurochemicals and evidence in behavioral changes prove that sugar also causes addiction.
What happens when we eject the sugar from the diet?
Тhe ejection of sugar from the diet for only nine days can have dramatic results and improve health, showed a new study published in the respected magazine Obesity. In this study 43 sugar was thrown out of the diet of 43 teenagers, and scientists have proven that the problem of dietary sugar lies not in the number of calories, but in the difficulties that the body has when digested.

We noticed a dramatic correction of the level in all children in the study, all of them improved their condition. In the research, we encourage children to eat even more than before, and we assured them that their weight would remain the same. Еven though they have not diminished calorie intake, they have reduced weight, says the study’s leader, Robert Lustig.

The more sugar is in the diet, the more unhealthy we eat.
People who consume too much sugar often skip the quality food. For example, they rarely eat cereals, they replace soft drinks with milk, natural juice, and the like.
Sugar calories are the worst because in the liver they turn into fat and increase insulin resistance, increasing the risk of diabetes, heart and liver disease, says Lustig.
After only nine days of fructose restriction, the results are significant and present in all subjects.
